The Thomaston girls basketball team celebrated their remarkable season at Tony's Coffee Express on Sunday afternoon. Turina (far right) organized the day and named an iced coffee for each player with a portion of the sales of those drinks going back to the team.
Torrington's Alexa Potter drops down a bunt during the Raiders 2-1 win over Naugatuck on Thursday afternoon. With the win, the Raiders finish with a perfect 20-0 mark. The remarkable Sydney Matzko finished with 11 strikeouts, giving her 295 for the season.

Litchfield County Sports.com made a trip to Citi Field on Wednesday and while neither Gaffney or Wilson (pictured) earned a spot on the roster, they had a great day touring the inside of the new ball ballpark in Queens. Thanks to Jason Valez of the Mets for his hospitality and the guided tour.
